* User Tracking

Under Actions - Discover Device, I have added all the switches that I want monitored, yet when I look at the main screen I cannot see details for all the switches I entered in the Discovery section.

Can anyone offer any advice on why I cannot see all Devices from here, even after adding the device again and running a discover again.

Thanks

Re: * User Tracking

Not sure if you have already seen: http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/477/Campus/ani.shtml which you can look at first to see if you're not missing anything here. This feature is helpful when a change occurs that might affect users or hosts on a specific device, you can initiate a discovery for only that device. This is less time-consuming than rediscovering all users and hosts. For example, if a host has been moved to a new device port, assigned to a new VLAN, or moved from one switch port to another, use device discovery to identify affected users and hosts.

Make sure that the Ping Sweep option is enabled.
