Using BSTUN for Async NCR Automatic Transaction Machine (ATM)

My question is, may I use BSTUN for any async connection?

I have to link a NCR ATM with an async port with a Windows NT Server via a serial async port, using a TCP/IP backbone.

Does this going to work? What considerations do I have to take?

In the bstun protocol-group there is a async-generic option, which looks promising for what you are attempting to accomplish.
