Using ILMI to Discover PVC parameters

Hi,

I understand that ATM ILMI will exchange PVC parameters with a switch, and that these parameters would be available via SNMP. The SNMP handles are atmfVccVpi and atmfVccVci.

I am specifically looking for a CLI command to display VCC numbers learned in this way, since we often experience carrier provisioning engineers giving us incorrect VCC ids.

I have read http://www.cisco.com/warp/customer/121/illmi.html

Thanks

James

Re: Using ILMI to Discover PVC parameters

James,

After configuring your signaling PVC's enter the interface command:

"atm ilmi-pvc-discovery" . Then you can do a "show atm vc" and see the vc's learned from your connected switch, assuming the switch has ilmi enabled.

Also here is a better link to discuss this "PVC Discovery" a bit more in depth:

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios113ed/113t/113t_2/pvcmgmt/pvcdisc.htm

Hope this helps,

Don
