I am trying to use NAT while migrating several DNS servers to new IP addresses. The new servers are on "Outside" interfaces and the clients needing to access these server on on "Inside" interfaces.
The old IP address of the server is 172.17.17.4 and the new IP address is 192.168.1.71.
I am using the command "ip nat outside source static 192.168.1.71 172.17.17.4"
This allows the inside networks to access the new server on its old IP address, but now none of the hosts on the inside networks can access the server by the new IP address.
Is there a way to configure this so the server is accessible by both its old and new IP addresses from the inside networks?
Thanks,
Nate
