Using SNMP to get FR Stats

Hi,

I am trying to gather statistics on perl-DLCI basis for a Frame-Relay PVC. I can use "1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.49.1.2.1" tree to gather DE Bits and Dropped packets.

However i can't seem to find the OID for "incoming BECN and FECN" packets and also the Total Input\Output Packets for that DLCI.

All of these stats can be seen on the router using "show frame-relay PVC" command.

Any help ?

Hope this helps

frRecBECNs 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.32.2.1.5

frRecFECNs 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.32.2.1.4

Re: Using SNMP to get FR Stats

Thanks. However i am getting some confusing results

For "frRecFECNs" through SNMP i get

snmpwalk -c public -v 2c cr-sb .1.3.6.1.2.1.10.32.2.1.4

SNMPv2-SMI::transmission.32.2.1.4.2.100 = Counter32: 1310

While at the same time, the Router "show frame-relay PVC shows"

++++++++++++++++++++++++++

DLCI = 100, DLCI USAGE = LOCAL, PVC STATUS = ACTIVE, INTERFACE = Serial0/0.2

input pkts 1549026 output pkts 1448084 in bytes 951678167

out bytes 477615187 dropped pkts 0 in FECN pkts 1241

in BECN pkts 0 out FECN pkts 0 out BECN pkts 0

in DE pkts 137063 out DE pkts 0

out bcast pkts 5681 out bcast bytes 1744067

pvc create time 3w1d, last time pvc status changed 3d22h

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Now after clearing the Counters on the Router, SNMP OID Still shows

bash-2.05$ snmpwalk -c public -v 2c cr-sb .1.3.6.1.2.1.10.32.2.1.4

SNMPv2-SMI::transmission.32.2.1.4.2.100 = Counter32: 1310

SNMPv2-SMI::transmission.32.2.1.4.2.102 = Counter32: 0

At the same time Router shows

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

DLCI = 100, DLCI USAGE = LOCAL, PVC STATUS = ACTIVE, INTERFACE = Serial0/0.2

input pkts 46 output pkts 49 in bytes 3100

out bytes 4866 dropped pkts 0 in FECN pkts 0

in BECN pkts 0 out FECN pkts 0 out BECN pkts 0

in DE pkts 0 out DE pkts 0

out bcast pkts 0 out bcast bytes 0

pvc create time 3w1d, last time pvc status changed 3d22h

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Why isn't the SNMP OID counter Reset, when i reset the Stats ?

Why is there a different between the values reported by SNMP and Stats on Router itself ?

However the CISCO-FRAME-RELAY MIB OID (They don't have any for recBECN and recFECN) work fine i.e. show the correct values as shown on the Router and ALSO when the Router Counter is reset.
