Using Vlan's on a Cisco 2610XM with 16 Ether switch module

I am planning to use a 2610XM with a 16 10/100 EtherSwitch module. I want to allocate Vlan's to the Etherswitch ports but transmit the Vlans over the TCP/IP or Bridged interface on the 2610 router. This link will terminate on another router and then reverse the process to output the separate Vlan's.

How can I do this?, I have done this when using physical interfaces (separate Switch & Router) but not when the switch and router are combined?

Anyone have any pointers?

The configuration part will be similar to that of a switch like Catalyst 3550 which can function as a layer2 or layer3 device , except for the interface numbering. Check this one :
