VIP4-50 Memory requirements

I am going to be installing some VIP4-50 in a 7507 router. The router is currently running IOS 12.1(20), and image, rsp-ik2o3sv-mz.121-20.bin. The router is running OSPF and BGP. It is receiving full Internet routes. CEF is configured as the switching solution.

How much memory is required for the new VIP cards? By default, the VIP's come with 64 SDRAM. That is what the currently VIP2-40 have installed. Is there any reason to have additional memory installed?

Re: VIP4-50 Memory requirements

You'll likely want extra memory (128/256) if you opted to run dCEF rather than regular CEF with a full internet routing table.
