For me it will mean as the management vlan for this VTP client switch will be vlan 120.
VTP client is a switch itself and a switch represent itself with the management vlan. Now as per your statement "put this vtp client in vlan 120" it should get vlan 120 from vtp server and you can create layer 3 interface for this vlan which is "interface vlan 120" and assign an ip address to this interface to manage it.
As it is already a VTP client so it will be having a trunk allowing vlan 120, should be having a proper VTP domain name and password if any.
