VLAN and LAN

i have a switch 3548.

Actually if i need to define a SPAN session, all the port related to this session has to belong to the same VLAN.

If i don't have VLAN defined, all the ports belong for default to the same VLAN?

Re: VLAN and LAN

You are correct. On a non-configured switch, all ports belong to vlan1.

When using SPAN, remember that the switch will only copy the traffic flowing through the port that you are monitoring.
