VLAN Bandwidth discrepancy

Hi. I have a Cisco 6506 and have VLANs configured. Access layer switches, 3548 / 3524 are connected to the 6506 via Gig trunk (802.1q) links. Management VLANs are configured on the access switches. When doing a show of the interface VLAN x on the access layer switch the BW statement reads 10000 kbs but the same vlan on the 6506 shows bw as 100000kbs. Can someone explain this difference to me and what effect on my network will it have.

Regards

Re: VLAN Bandwidth discrepancy

The VLAN interfaces are management only interfaces, they are logical interfaces. Hence, the bandwidth value there has no real meaning.
