Vlan design question

Suppose I have vlan 200, vlan 300, and vlan 400. If I have a common device, e.g. printer, that I want clients from any vlan to use, how do I configure the printer connection?

Thanks

Re: Vlan design question

You just put the printer port into the vlan you want it and give it a hardcoded ip address that falls within the address range of that vlan . Obviously to have all 3 vlans able to talk to it you must have either a router to route the vlans or a L2/L3 switch to do your routing.
