hi all,
Can i config dot 1Q vlan on a 2610 platform ?
I believe than to perform 802.1Q vlan i need a 10/100
ethernet am i right or wrong

You sure can configure dot1Q with the 2610 FastE. Make sure you have at least IP plus as a feature set.

Hi,
generally you need 100 Mbps ethernet to configure 802.1Q on Cisco routers.
But there are some exceptions.
I remember configuring 802.1q on some 3600 10Mbps port in the past.
I don't know if there is any document describing these exceptions.
So just install IP Plus IOS and try if "encapsulation dot1Q" subinterface config command is available.

Yes, you can for sure, i had a 2611 witch i used to trunk 802.1q with my 3524xl. you do need to have ip plus feature pack, ios 12.2(2) T ,it will not work on a nm-1e but does on the build in ethernet interfaces of the 261x series.
ISL however is not supported.
