i am creating a vlan on switch 6509 switch and assigning a port to it.i have 2 6509 with hsrp configuration.
after creating vlan i connect my laptop to the assigned port and given the standby as gateway to the laptop.i can ping the standby from laptop buyt i cannot ping the laptop from switch and aslo from the laptop i cannot ping to the switch except the standby ip.
please suggest me what to check,i checked the trunk and everything.
