Hi, I have 5 Cat 3550 switches all uplink to the 4006 chassis b using GBIC fiber link.
If I were to configure the VLANS across these switches, which should I use to configure as router to route among VLANs ?
Does the 3550 provides the VLAN routing function ?
If by using the 4006 for routing purposes, what module should include for it ? Currently the 4006 comes with the "supervisor Engine II Module", 6-GBIC ports module and 24-port 10/100/1000 Base-T module.
Is there any VLAN configuration sample for the above scenerio ? Please provide the URL.
How do I configure the Switch IP address for 3550 and 4006 ? This is because like for Cat 1900, we use the command "Switch(config)# ip address x.x.x.x. y.y.y. will do but I can't find the above command in Cat 3550 /4006.
