Hi All,
I have some doubt in SPAN port configutation.
The scenario is i got 3 switches with 4 VLANs. VLAN1 consists of first 3ports of switch one , First 4 port of the switch two and first 3 port of switch three. Now if i configure the span port for the vlan1 ,can I able to get all the the traffic from all the ports which is related to that VLAN1.

Only traffic entering the swith for that vlan with SPAN. you may try RSPAN as well but i don't think any span would achieve what you want to do.

Hi.
I don't know what switches you have, but RSPAN is only available on the Catalyst 6000 family.
If you have a Cat 6000 family switches, you can try to use RSPAN on each switch giving as source the VLAN you want to monitor.
Hope this helps.
