Hi everyone....i want to have a Vlan setup in my lab....i am very low on budget.....so i cant afford 2900 series switch....and i dont want to buy 1900 as i want 100Mbps connectivity....so can some one plz tell me which choice would be better for me.....2924 would b aright and the most imp thing i want same CLI coomand modes as of 2900 series....can some one guide me....and thridly the most imp thing which IOS shd it have....is there any perticular requirment for IOS for vlan routing??? as i see many IOS like XL, EN i m totally confused.....thanking in adnavce

The most low-end switch that does intervlan routing is the 3550. Of course, it is now end of sale (as is the 1900, and 2900xl), so you'd have to find a used one if you choose to go that route.

The 3560 is at the lowest end of switches that are currently available that can perform routing.
