hi i am new to Vlans.....i have 2550 switch and a router (2620)...so i want to configure some vlans and also config my router to do intervlan routing........so plz some one can post me conf.....for botyh router and switch.....cheers and thanks in advance

Hi,

For configuring VLANs on your switch 2550, you just need to enter the following commands:

-enable

- configure terminal

- interface vlan 'no'

Then you need to make various physical interfaces, a member of the VLAN you desire. For that enter the following commands:

-enable

-configure terminal

- interface fa'no'

-switchport access vlan 'no'
