Vlans and a DHCP Server

I am implementing a Vlan on a flat network, I will have the Servers on their own subnet while having the clients on their own subnet, how would I go about making sure dhcp is being handed out to all the clients? Do I need to enable dhcp relay? Or what would be the process for this? The router is a 7206.

Thanks in advance

Re: Vlans and a DHCP Server

Configure 'ip helper-address (dhcp_address)' on the vlan interface connected to clients. The router would forward the client broadcasts as a unicast message to the DHCP server and everything should fly.

Pls. rate the post if it helped.
