vmps syslogging

Hi,

we have C6500 (CatOS)as vmps-server and

C2950 (nativeIOS)as vmps-clients running.

Customer wants to get information about users who

fell into fallback vlan.

(MAC-address and switchIP&port)

We are thinking about a generated syslog message,

if a user falls into fallback vlan.

How can we achieve this ?

##

We connected a PC on a C2950 (vmps-client),

saw that it got into fallback vlan, but no

message about that in the logs of both

(vmps-server,client).

also on vmps-server site we were not able

to get information via show vmps... about

fallback vlan users.

We tried the given vmps show and debug cmds

on client (debug vqpc all) and logging buff debug.

And increased the syslog level to 7 (dvlan vmps)

on C65 for getting information about the

users which are now in fallback vlan.

-also the tried set trace dynvlan 6.

But we saw no information about users in fallback

vlan.

btw is the restricted vlan the same as the fallback

vlan ?

(sh vmps vlanport TEST)

Thanx for information.

Kind regards,

Stefan
