VMS error message

Hi,

When I try to add a PIX to VMS, I keep on getting the following message:

The scope is set back to Global for one of the following reasons: 1. The device or group is deleted by other users. 2. The hierarchy table may changed since database is compacted or restored.

What do I need to do to resolve this? This is a new installation of VMS.

Re: VMS error message

This error could be in response to either a corrupt database or the PIX MC was installed with a different username than what the Common services was installed with. The only way to get over this error is to uninstall PIX MC and reinstall it with the same user as was used for the Common Services.
