VPDN disconnect problem

Hello,

I am using VPDN ( L2F ) connection to my central office. For some reasons I need to configure the connection so, that it would automatically hang up after some inactivity time. The problem is, that the inactivity timer in my operating system is reset every minute becuase of PPP LCP Echo Request and Echo Reply frames. Is it possible to configure the AAA server, router or NAS so, that it would not send the LCP frames ?

Regards,

Peter

Re: VPDN disconnect problem

You can configure "no keepalive" under the interface virtual-template for not to send echo requests etc..

Also you can configure idle-timeout under virtual temp inteface and have interesting traffic defined accordingly to reset the idle-time.

Pl. visit following url for that

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios122/122newft/122t/122t11/ftprfidl.htm
