Why when using XP's VPN client, you do not need to add the group access info. to gain access to the VPN ? (security problem) How do I configure the 3000 concentrator to require this group access info. when using the MS VPN Client? I would perferre not to have my users even use this client, but even though, this is still a security risk, considering you only need a name and password to access the VPN...
all responses are appreciated,
Mark

I guess my first question would be why not use the Cisco Software client? Secondly, I am not 100% sure on this but I don't think you ca get the XP client to use group-name but there are some ways to make it more secure. Someone else with more expierince might want to chime in on that one.

We wish to use the VPN Client. The issue still remains, as a security vulnerability allowing access to the VPN with a simple name and password with the XP client.
