I'm working with one of our local government accounts that is using the 3005, IOS 3.6.5.
The VPN Concentrator fails like clockwork every 24 hours. The vpn box does not loose its address or show any errors. All they have to do is disable the outside interface then enable it and it works again for 24 more hours. It seems as if a port is going to sleep and repluging the interface wakes it up. All they have to do is unplug the patch cable to the cable modem and plug it back in then the modem cycles and everything works again.
Any suggestions? From our end, the modem is working fine, signal is fine, and connectivity to the server is never lost. We still think it's a hardware or firmware problem. I understand that certains concentrators had an issue with "going to sleep".
