I just installed a Cisco VPN client at home to access my work network.

What is the username and password under the Group Access Infomation screen that comes up while creating a new connection in a VPN clinet.

Is it the windows network username and password that I use to login at work?

or

Should I ask my administrator if there is a different username and password?

It all depends on how the authentication databases are linked at work, So you need to talk to your network admin at work.

I am able to establish a tunnel to the outsode interface of the pix.....now i need to creata database of users (username and password) to go beyond the IKE authentication prompt that comes after the IPSEC connection has been established.

Where and how do I create this database.
