VTP over leased line.

Hello,

We have a CAT6009 with VTP Domain. My question concerns creating a VTP trunk over a leased line to a CAT4003 so that we can share our VTP domain. Is it possible of will we need to create another VTP domain on the other site?

I beleive you will want to create a VTP domain at the other site. Even if you could do this, it seems like asking for problems later.

I feel certain that you won't be able to create a VLAN trunk across the leased line. If you did, a significant portion of the capacity will be taken up with the Cats maintaining the trunk, as well as tags, etc. Keep in mind that this would essentially be bridging multiple VLANs across a leased line, as opposed to routing across the leased line. You really don't want to bridge across slow links...
