Currently I have two separate sites in a Campus environment that are connected via gigabit fiber. Currently the remote site and the local site are using 4908's but we are looking to migrate the local site over to our core 6509's.
Here is my question: If we perform this migration will the 4908 at the remote end be capable of doing VLAN trunking / VTP? I want to merge the two VTP domains into one so we are working off of one group of VLAN's. Currently the 4908 doesn't give me an option for VTP, but I was curious if it might be possible with an IOS upgrade.
