WAN Frame Relay migration question

I'm looking for some opinions on the following WAN migration scenario. The company has a 7 spoke FR WAN with IP routing using static routes. Each router has 2 WIC T1-DSU cards. One WIC card in each router is currently being used for the WAN with provider 1

The company decided to switch to provider 2. Provider 2 has completed provisioning th FR network. All we need now is to plug in the patch cables into the second WIC cards of each router and program the second WIC interface.

Any ideas on the best way to perform this migration with no or minimal downtime?

Thanks,

Alex

Probably the easiest way to do this is to go ahead and configure the new interfaces with a new IP addressing scheme and put in static routes pointing to the new interfaces at the opposing ends. Basically duplicate the current static routes but put in the new destination IP's or new serial interfaces. This way you can still route via the first provider until and/or during the implementation of the new circuit without any delays.

Thanks!! I will give that a try!
