i have a cat 4006 SUP III having 3 48 ports RJ45 10/100 (WS-X4148-RJ)
i need to add to it wan interfaces.
it seems to be that i should use the WS-X4604-GWY.
in cisco web server i found the following:"The Catalyst 4000 Access Gateway Module itself is supported in the Catalyst 4003
and 4006 and requires at least Cat OS 5.5(1)."
does this mean that i must change the soft? should i use Cat OS rather than IOS?
i think that i can't use all WIC modules. for example WIC 1T or WIC2T r not supported.
is this true?
