Hello,

We have following resources

7206 router with AS5800 with the IOS c5800-k8p4-mz.122-7b.bin.

and a 144 MICA modem card

The problem goes here we get following console messages

09:20:29: %DS_MODEM-3-LOW_PARTICLES: Not enough particles - modem number:64 particles needed:1 available:-181; CTS on

as a result, modem banks goes bad by bank by bank and recover very often.

Any wayouts ?? for this problem.

There are some issues reported with that error message. In your case the CTS is on so its a bug CSCdv5805. Pl. view that bug at cco bug toolkit.

To resolve this issue, pl. load 12.2(10)b or 12.2(2)XB8 on AS5800.
