WCCP IP spoofing problem

Hi all

I have cisco 3640 with 2 FE

iam trying to integrate with Cache Engine

But i see most of the example shown with 3 interface

That means, i should have much 3 interface

or still i can do with the 2 Interfaces

transparent cache is working...

when i want to do ip spoofing,

iam not able to achive , because of some limitation of 3 interface of Ethernet

A router with 3 interface is necessary for IP Spoofing with WCCP. This is because the router has to redirect the packets to the same CE for both - the traffic from the client to the web-server and for the traffic coming back from the web-server to the client.

Can have some work around if you don't have a similar router,

1)All three interface need not to be Ethernet/FE, the router interface connecting to the WAN/Internet could be a WAN interface.

2)If a three interface router is not available, a work around could be to use sub-interfaces on one of the physical interfaces.
