What are options for rate limiting downstream ISP traffic flows?
As an ISP I have a need to rate limit various downstream traffic flows on a customer's BGP peer. I understand the option of appliying different CAR rate limits based on the customer's different destination subnets. But is there a way that the customer can set up the policy on their end of the peer so that they can influence the rate limits applied in my ISP router. The objective would be to limit my involvment each time the customer wanted to realocate the rate limit for each subnet

I guess, this can be only done manually each time, you relocate the rate limit for each subnet. When they request a change, once you do the changes, you wil have to manually tell them the Rate limit values.
