What is handled by IOS Process "LanNetMgr Supt "

Hi

Does somebody know what the IOS process "LanNetMgr Supt " is handeling ?

We had a router crash with 99% CPU load and the process doing it was "LanNetMgr Supt".

Below still to high load from this process.

All info are highly apprisiated

CPU utilization for five seconds: 33%/23%; one minute: 31%; five minutes: 31%

Hi,

lnm protocol is normaly used in token ring enviroments for management purposes.

If you don't need it you can switch off the functionality by configuring:

router(config)# lnm disabled
