What is the difference between WS-X6148-RJ-45 & WS-X6348-RJ-45.

6348 has inline power. 6148 does not but is upgradable to inline power.
Hope this helps,
Don

There is absolutely NO functional difference between these cards. The 6148 supports all of the features that the 6348 does and the reason there is a price difference is because of the new, less expensive ASIC that we're using in the 6148. Also minimum Cat OS requirements are 6.4(x) or 7.2(x) to run the 6148's.

Hi,
there is no mention about WS-X6148-RJ-45 on TAC pages (only WS-X6148-RJ-45V) and I've not used these cards.
But according to
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/cc/pd/si/casi/ca6000/prodlit/c60fe_ds.pdf
I've got a feeling WS-X6148-RJ-45 might be a new card with the same funcionality and half prize as WS-X6348-RJ-45.
Regards,
Milan
