What is the difference between WS-X6148-RJ45V and WS-X6348-RJ45V module

Hi All,

Does anyone know the differences between WS-X6148-RJ45V and WS-X6348-RJ45V module on Catalyst 6000 Series ?

There is absolutely NO functional difference between these cards. The 6148 supports all of the features that the 6348 does and the reason there is a price difference is because of the new, less expensive ASIC that we're using in the 6148. Also Cat OS 7.2 is required to run the 6148's.

Prashanth, I believe 6148 is the newer module than 6348, right ?

Do you see any problem with 6148, especially in the sense of stability, reliability and performance. I am in the deal with my customer (semiconductor company) where HA, performance and stability are compulsory.

Do you have any test result of this module ?
