Hoping someone could help me and let me know if there is any difference between the two following IOS Global config commands:
The only difference is the '-' between 'mac' and 'address'. Both commands seem to do the same things, but am worried as doing some study for the CCNA and have found some pratcive questions asking for this command, but not sure which one is right?
Unfortunatley we have switches at work that DOES use both commands and they display exactly the same results and have exactly the same options. The switches are CAt3750's running IOS version 12.1(14r)EA1a.
It doesn't concern me that there are two commands that do exactly the same thing, just wanted to know which one would be the 'more correct' one to answer in a CCNP (or similar) test?
