What is the error '%MCAST-2-MAXGDALIMIT:No. of Multicast entries has reached the max 3072'?

I am running 2 6500s with MSFCs in the core. All closet switches are 5500s and

are receiving the error above. I am running HSRP in the core. I am also using 'ip pim sparse-dense mode' on the vlans with 'ip cgmp'.

Re: What is the error '%MCAST-2-MAXGDALIMIT:No. of Multicast ent

As message explains itself,This message indicates that the number of multicast entries has reached the maximum limit; [dec] is 3072, the maximum number of multicast entries. No new entries will be created.

Make sure no more than 3072 groups are used.
