What is the mathmatical equation to determine what channel of an Etherchannel is to be used when using IP Address Frame Distribution? I understand how to convert a MAC address to a channel number but not an IP address.

Use the following command to convert IP addresse to a channel.

cs-c6506-41a> (enable) sh bndlhash

Usage: show bndlhash [address2]

mac address use: xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx;

ip address use:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

if channel_id is 0 then return hash value only, otherwise mod/port
