What is the max number of circuits you can load balance across utilizing OSPF?

I believe OSPF supports a maximum path value of 4 (along with most other IP routing protocols).

Check this link out, OSPF wil keep track upto 6 paths.

Putting an OSPF maximum paths statement will support up to six T-1's. I am not sure of your network architecture but here we use a lot of PPP Multilinks in places that we could use OSPF maximum paths. It conserves IP addresses for one thing and provides the same kind of redundancy that you would expect with OSPF Maximum Paths. We can aggregate at least 6 T-1s together to get 9MB total bandwidth between two points. Pretty cool stuff.

All IP routing protocols on Cisco routers default to load balancing across 4 equal cost paths and are configurable to use up to 6 equal cost paths
