I configure using IOS 12.1.2e2 - MSFC's on a 6509's secondary IP addresses.

What is the maximum allowed number of secondary addresses per interface?

I did not find any specific limitation on number of secondary IP addresses per interface. I have seen customers with 15-20 secondary IP addresses per interface. If you can, I suggest that you use different VLANs and avoid having too many secondary IP addresses. By the way, how many do you plan to have?
