What is the "transmit" utilization statistic on a Catalyst 1900?

In viewing my Utilization Stastic Report on my 1900 I see "received" "forward" and "transmit".

Received must mean frames received by the port, Forwarded must mean frames forwarded ny the port.

So what does transmit refer to? Cant seem to fund an answer to this anywhere....

Thanks

Thanks

Re: What is the "transmit" utilization statistic on a Catalyst 1

Here is a link with a lot of the information that I hope you are looking for.

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/lan/28201900/1928v67x/19icg67x/19icoutb.htm#xtocid2707221

This link does not specifically state what forwarding is.. but here are my thoughts.

Recieved = input packets into an interface

Transmit = output packets out of an interface

Forward = packets that have been sent to the data bus for flooding or to a known output port.

Hope this helps,

Don
