What means the message "XOT VC setup timer expired"

We are using XOT protocol between a 3640 and a host product called HNAS. IOS has just been loaded and is quite new: Version 12.2(7a)

We start tracing by using the command "debug x25 events". We kept getting the message "XOT VC setup timer expired" that we can't find in the documenation

This should be the timer used to wait

for a Call Request on a new TCP connection

to port 1998. If the HNAS does not support

XOT, then you may need to configure protocol

translation to communicate with the

HNAS.
