What routers to use ???

I have few remote sites which are directly connected to HQ office each with a 128K leased line. We also intend to have the ISDN backup for each site to the HQ.

Anyone please help to suggest what models of routers are suitable for each of the site and HQ office. (NOTE: All sites are running pure TCP/IP).

Is there any configuration samples for such scenerio ?

Re: What routers to use ???

for the remote site, you could use a 1600 or 2600.

If the site is small and using isdn, you could even consider a 800.

For the central site, it depends how many remote site you will have.

You could use 1 x 7200 or 1 x 7500.

You could also consider the 3600 if not too many sites. (like 20).

For sample config,check:

We use 1720's at remote sites and 2 x 3640 in central office. Leased line, ISDN backup and OSPF.
