What to do when relocating CiscoWorks server?

There is an intention to move the CiscoWorks server from one subnet to another subnet. What are the things need to be done besides changing the SNMP host in all the managed network devices to the new IP address and rebooting the CiscoWorks server after changing to the new IP address?

Do I need to re-configure everything?

Please advise.

Re: What to do when relocating CiscoWorks server?

If you change the ip address/hostname of your CW2000 server, you need to update the respective files for CW2K as well. The procedure can be seen at depending upon your specific OS which is a must other wise your CW2K server won't work properly:

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/477/RME/winnt_hostname.html

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/477/RME/sol_hostname.html. If you're using DNS to manage your device in RME, then as long as the name resolution works properly in both directions, you don't need to do anything with your inventory, other wise you may need to delete and add the devices back again.
