it seems that there has some problem with the DDN link ,i use ping to test another end of the link , there has a strange output:

Reply from 61.*.0.2: bytes=32 time<10ms TTL=224

Request timed out.

Request timed out.

Request timed out.

Request timed out.

,just like that ,so many timed out , i think the link is still connected ,but doesnt work well ,i dont know whats wrong with it ,what should i do?

You might want to try setting the ping timeout to a larger value, just so you can see if the line is very slow.

If you are pinging from a Windows machine, the command is 'ping 61.*.0.2 -w 10000', where 10000 is the number of milliseconds to wait. On a router, do an extended ping and set the timeout higher than the default.

This will show you if the line is really up, just taking 5 seconds to return the ping.
