when standby -->active, Virtual Router Mac-address instability in HSRP?

HSRP Virtual Router Mac-address instability

1 switch + 2 router

switch E0 connected computer.

switch E1 connected RTA.

switch E2 connected RTB.

RTA is HSRP active router.

RTB is HSRP standby router.

active router use Virtual Router's MAC

When active--> standby, standby --> active, IS MAC address instability in the switch port?

Re: when standby -->active, Virtual Router Mac-address instabili

Which switch is it and what software versions are you running on the switch and the routers? Also what exactly do you mean by MAC address instability

When active--> standby, standby --> active, switch need to update its mac-address-table. However it will not cause Mac-address instability issue. If it is not switch back and forth very often. For example, 20-30 times per minute.

For bug issue, it is depend on IOS.
