Where can I get JVM now microsoft have removed it from their web site ?

Hi all,

When installing CW2000, I always get the latest JVM from the Microsoft site at www.microsoft.com/java.

The jvm link for the latest version has been removed, and a note says that the jvm can be downloaded from the windows update site.

But, when I go to the windows update site, no jvm updates appear to be available, even though I know that my machine is running an old version of jvm (5.0.0.3310 - CW2K needs 5.0.0.3805 in LMS2.1 with IE6.0).

Have Microsoft withdrawn support for the jvm ?

There are several other shareware/freeware sites where you can download Microsoft JVM. For example, you can use http://www.download.com, search for JVM and you'll see v5.00.3805 listed. OR directly point your web browser to:

http://download.com.com/3000-2417-9021165.html?tag=lst-0-9 for the JVM download.

Thanks for the tip - got it ok :)
