Where can we find the max value of traffic statistics counter in 6509?

we use MRTG software to monitor traffic statistics in 6509, but we found the value is not always true. we doubt that the traffic statistics counter was reset when it's full. If it's reset between 2 sampling time, the value become incorrect.

So we want to know the exact max value of SNMP traffic statistics counter, we need estimate how much time the counter will be reset according the device's traffic.

What objects are you polling for this 6509?. You can look into using 64-bit counters for high-speed ports/interfaces to avoid wrapping.
