where to ping filter with a multi interface

i have a 4000 router that connectes to the internet with multilinked T1s. I want to put an access-list to prevent pings coming in ( .. deny icmp any any echo)

below is the relevant portion of the config:

interface Multilink1

ip address 4.24.163.102 255.255.255.252

load-interval 30

no cdp enable

ppp multilink

no ppp multilink fragmentation

multilink-group 1

!

interface Ethernet0

ip address 4.43.65.193 255.255.255.224

media-type 10BaseT

!

interface Serial0

no ip address

encapsulation ppp

load-interval 30

no fair-queue

down-when-looped

ppp multilink

multilink-group 1

!

interface Serial1

no ip address

encapsulation ppp

load-interval 30

no fair-queue

down-when-looped

ppp multilink

multilink-group 1

!

do i put the 'ip access-group 100 in' on each serial interface or on the multilink1 ?

Re: where to ping filter with a multi interface

All routing are through multilink interface and the IP information is also given only to the multilink interface.

So, you need to apply the access-list on the multilink interface .
