which chassis have a calendar chip?

Hi,

I am looking for a definitive list of which chassis have a calendar chip in them. I know the 7200 series does, but what else?

Is there a list somewhere at Cisco that would have this info? I've looked but I can't find it if it exists.

Thx,

Greg

Re: which chassis have a calendar chip?

Almost all highend routers and some layer 3 switches have this hardware calender chips, which is battery powered.

Cisco 4000 does have this calendar chip. and as you had mentioned, before, the 7000 series (7200 and 7500) does have this chip. You might want to try the show calendar command. If the calendar chip is present, the router would respond the current date/time. If not supported, you can make out. The low end routers, usually dont have this chip.
