Which cisco product fits best ?

I have two network segments

1x10Mb UTP Ethernet (public)

1x100Mb UTP Ethernet (private)

I need a PAT/NAT capable router to connect to connect the two segments.

Which cisco product fits best ?

Any suggestions ?

Thanx in advance

Robert

Re: Which cisco product fits best ?

I would probably go with the 1710 and use the firewall feature set.

Re: Which cisco product fits best ?

Thanx Mick,

It seems that the 1710 is not available overhere and the 1720 gives me more expandability. Does a 1720 with one extra Ethernet WAN adapter have the same funcionality or can I work with only one Ethernet port and configure with a subinterface?

If Yes ,can you point me in directions where i can find information to configure (Ethernet) subinterfaces ?

Thanx in advance

The 1720 would probably work just as well.

I don't know how hard you're going to stress your network, so this is just a suggestion rather than an endorsement.
